Video Games Enhance the traditional Games played in the Classroom

This website talks about the benefit of using video games in the classroom.  The author writes that today children spend an average of about  7 and a half hours using technology per day.  With this in mind, it is only understandable that technology should be used in the classroom to teach students proper etiquette for using technology as well as how to benefit from technology use.

One point made in this article that I really liked was that games have always been used in the classroom to help students understand concepts in a more engaging, interactive, and fun way.  Using video games, teachers can still engage students and help them understand in a fun way, but they will also gain better technology skills and have a wider variety of things to learn.
