I think that this link has some good examples of ways that technology can be practically incorporated into the classroom. While there are countless types of fancy technologies available to us, I think there is something to be said about keeping it simple and being smart about knowing how to use technology to enhance student’s learning experiences in ways that do not over-complicate things or seem impractical. A lot of the technology ideas that this website suggests are either free or would be fairly inexpensive, so it would be far more realistic to use them within a lesson. I liked the ideas of having students “publish” their work, creating a class blog, and having students listen to and/or create podcasts. These are easy and cheap ways of using technology that most teachers would be able to quite easily include in lesson plans.
